I have been representing Buyers and Sellers of Real Estate in Washington State's San Juan Islands since May, 2016.
I began visiting the San Juan Islands in 2003, learning the island's geography and unique "sense of place". My husband and I moved to Friday Harbor in 2015 and own a house on Point Caution.
I bring to the job experience and skills perfected in my prior career lives. I was a literary agent representing writers, directors and producers in New York and Hollywood for twenty years. When I subsequently moved to Ashland, Oregon, I used those negotiating skills and knowledge of contracts in law firms with practice areas as varied as personal injury, insurance defense, domestic relations and criminal law.
I have also been a theater reviewer, a wine columnist and a freelance reporter.
I am keenly aware of the personal as well as the contractual nature of a real estate transaction. Whether I represent the Seller or the Buyer in a transaction, my goal is to provide guidance and expertise in matching the perfect property to the ideal buyer and closing the sale quickly.
